Terms of Service

These terms cover the products and services offered by FromKitchenToCode, an individual (sole proprietor) business operated by Phillipe de Araújo Silva, based in Brasília, Brazil. By purchasing a product or signing a service agreement with us, you agree to these terms.

What we offer

• Custom website builds — a one-time build fee plus monthly hosting, covered by an individual signed service agreement that takes priority over these general terms where the two differ.
• Client Hub App — an optional monthly add-on for hosting clients (app, push notifications, site analytics).
• Courses and templates — digital products sold through Hotmart, Gumroad, or directly, each also subject to that platform's own terms where applicable.

Payment & billing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Hotmart, Gumroad, or Asaas depending on the product — we never see or store your full card or bank details. Monthly subscriptions (hosting, the Client Hub App add-on) bill automatically until canceled.

Cancellation

You can cancel a Stripe-billed subscription (hosting or the Client Hub App add-on) yourself at any time through our billing portal — enter the email you paid with to get a secure link. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep access until then, and we don't charge you again after that. You can also cancel by emailing us.

Refunds

• Custom website builds: the one-time build fee is refundable in full if work hasn't started yet, and prorated if you cancel partway through, based on work already completed.
• Monthly subscriptions: no refund for the current billing period once it's begun, but you won't be charged again after cancellation.
• Courses and templates: given their digital, instantly-accessible nature, these are generally non-refundable once accessed — reach out if something's genuinely wrong and we'll work it out.

Ownership

For custom builds, you own your site's content and branding. The underlying code/hosting setup remains ours to operate and reuse across clients unless your service agreement says otherwise. Templates and course materials are licensed for your use as described at purchase, not resold or redistributed as your own product.

Document storage

If you use Client Hub's document storage feature, you're responsible for the legality and appropriateness of anything you upload — no malware, no content you don't have rights to. Uploads are automatically scanned for known viruses before being stored, but no scan catches everything, so this isn't a substitute for your own judgment about what you upload. We don't guarantee against data loss and this isn't a substitute for your own backups. If your subscription is canceled, stored documents may be deleted after a reasonable notice period.

Limitation of liability

We work carefully, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or that a website/tool will be error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes are subject to the courts of Brasília, DF, unless local consumer-protection law gives you the right to a different venue.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For active service agreements, the terms in place when you signed continue to apply unless we agree on an update together.
